Jim Rogers, a legend in the investment industry known alongside Warren Buffett and George Soros as one of the “Top Three Investors in the World”, currently serves as the chairman of Rogers Holdings and Beeland Interests. In 1969, he co-founded the investment firm Quantum Fund with George Soros, and from 1970 over about a decade, achieved a remarkable return of 4,200% while the S&P 500 index rose by 47%, cementing his status as a Wall Street legend.
After retiring at the age of 37, Jim Rogers served as a professor at Columbia Business School and hosted numerous financial and investment-related TV programs. In 1998, he also developed and introduced the Rogers International Commodity Index (RICI) named after him. Renowned as a pioneer of global investing, Jim Rogers embarked on a lifetime dream of world travel in 1990 and 1999. During these journeys, he discovered hidden markets in countries like Vietnam and Venezuela, and widely shared his unique investment insights gained from his world travels and investment experiences.
He now resides in Singapore with his family, closely monitoring the shifting landscape of global investments centered around Asia.
