Analyzing Big Data on Economic Mobility

The hottest rising star of the international economics community.

Big Data and the Real Face of Inequality

Harvard University economics professor Raj Chetty delves into inequality more scientifically through big data. Not only does he deal with inequality in terms of fairness and justice, but he also uses high-quality data to figure out how barriers to economic opportunity were created and empirically uncovers the correlation between inequality and the economy as a whole.

First of all, Raj Chetty emphasizes that regional inequality gaps must be identified and analyzed in order to confirm the mechanism of upward economic mobility. It is necessary to find out why children from specific regions are more likely to have upward class mobility to revive the flame of economic opportunities that are gradually dimming. He presents various blueprints for expanding causes of inequality and equal opportunities in vast amounts of data.

Raj Chetty asks us that government policy and many people's constant concerns and attention are now needed more than ever. Will you let inequality remain the limit of the capitalist era or overcome it for a better life?
